Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WorkerRun (workerrun.com), operated by KOOFFICE Inc. (株式会社KOOFFICE), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

WorkerRun is a self-hosted runner platform for GitHub Actions. It executes GitHub Actions jobs outside of your GitHub Actions quota by running them on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure using V8 isolates. WorkerRun intercepts jobs assigned to runners labeled worker-run and executes them on behalf of your GitHub repositories.

5. Service Tiers and Billing

Free Tier

The Free tier includes up to 10,000 V8 job executions per calendar month at no charge. No credit card is required to use the Free tier. Container execution is not available on the Free tier.

Pro Tier

The Pro tier costs $5 per month and includes up to 1,000,000 V8 job executions and 36,000 container weighted seconds (10 hours) per calendar month. V8 job overage beyond the included limit is billed at $5 per 1,000,000 additional jobs when a payment method is on file and overage billing is enabled. Container overage is billed at $0.002 per weighted second.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method through Stripe on a recurring basis. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will be communicated by email and/or notice on the website at least 30 days before taking effect for existing subscribers.

6. Service Availability

WorkerRun is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability, particularly for Free tier users. The service depends on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure and GitHub APIs, and availability may be affected by issues with these underlying providers.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption to the service.

7. Intellectual Property

Your code and workflows: You retain all ownership rights to your code, workflow files, and any content that you execute through WorkerRun. WorkerRun does not claim any intellectual property rights over your repositories or job content.

WorkerRun software: The WorkerRun platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by KOOFFICE Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any portion of the WorkerRun platform without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of WorkerRun is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using WorkerRun, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WorkerRun depends on third-party services including GitHub and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for any disruptions, outages, or changes to these third-party services that may affect your use of WorkerRun.

We do not warrant that (a) the service will meet your specific requirements, (b) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, or (c) any errors in the service will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KOOFFICE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF WORKERRUN.

IN NO EVENT SHALL KOOFFICE INC.'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO WORKERRUN IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED JAPANESE YEN (¥100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KOOFFICE Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of WorkerRun, including any code you execute through the service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to WorkerRun at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, if:

You may terminate your account at any time by uninstalling the WorkerRun GitHub App and contacting us at support@workerrun.com. Upon termination, your right to use the service immediately ceases.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of WorkerRun after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Chiba District Court (千葉地方裁判所) as the court of first instance.
